morning, bianna. urooj khan's family has spent the last few months looking into what happened to him. they are hoping the decision to exhume his body will get them answers. for the first time, urooj khan's family is speaking a out about his mysterious death in july, one day after he claimed his lotto jackpot. this morning, his nephew, says he knew something wasn't right. >> the next day later, he passes away. it raises some eyebrows. >> reporter: it turns out those concerns may have been warranted. the medical examiner initially ruled khan died of nap ral causes. but after concerns, siblings demanded more tests. authorities found a lethal amount of cyanide in his blood, turning this case into a homicide investigation. >> when we found out there was cyanide in his blood, after the toxicology report, someoned that to kill him. >> reporter: they have no suspects. but they did question his widow. ansari, working at the couple's dry cleaning business, declined to speak to abc news on camera. but says the night before her husband died, she cooked a traditional indian meal for him. and said

. but a month later, instead of leaving on easy street, khan was dead, in the rose hills cemetery. on the evening of july 20th his wife made dinner at home and he went to bed a little less than an hour later. she said she was awakened by his screams of agony. khan was rushed to a nearby hospital, but it was too late. he was pronounced dead. doctors said the 46-year-old died of natural causes, but later that week an urgent call came into the cook county medical examiner's office from a concerned relative. >> this person must have made a compelling case, enough, you know, we take all information seriously, but this was serious enough to order a full battery of toxicology including some unusual agents such as cyanide and strychnine. >> reporter: both deadly poison, so acting on the caller's information, lab technicians retested khan's blood and discovered an old killer. >> when they came back in late november, it was definitely in the lethal range in the published literature for cyanide in the blood. >> reporter: i called up science journalist debra blum author of "the poisoner's han

on this crazy story. poisoned with cyanide after wisconsining the lottery. now the body of khan will be exhumed to reexpect what caused his death and rule out if anything else may have contributed to it. generally one cyanide tablet will do it. his death was initially ruled a result of natural causes but further toxicology exams showed otherwise. police have not announced any suspects in his wife. and his wife has denied involvement. the autopsy will be completed by the end of the week. terrifying ride for passengers on board a commuter bus in seattle after a strange popping noise sent everyone running off. moments later, the bus burst into flames. no one was hurt. the police say that that is thanks in part to the driver quickly getting everyone off and away from the bus. the cause of this is still under investigation. but investigators say frozen brakes overheated could be to blame. >> well, after years of lies and coverup. lance armstrong may be finally ready to admit to doping. the former seven time tour de france winner will open up to oprah winfrey on interview taped on monday. this is acc
